An introduction to the skills needed to be a comfortable, competent, and happy backpacker. In the stunning backcountry of Mount Jefferson, we’ll hike through sweeping alpine landscapes, huckleberry-filled valleys, and to the top of rocky vistas. The gradual, wide trails will be a great start for any youngster’s overnight backcountry experience. We welcome all skill levels to join us for this trip, especially those who are just becoming interested in backpacking.
