We are pleased to announce that Opal Creek Ancient Forest Center is releasing a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for a Real Estate Development Partner to support our continued recovery and dual-site development following the 2020 Beachie Creek Fire.

This RFQ outlines OCAFC’s intent to engage a qualified firm to support fundraising and capital campaign strategy, financial forecasting, program feasibility, and development management across our dual-site recovery — a lighter, seasonally curated presence at our historic Jawbone Flats campus, and a new year-round campus downriver. The selected firm will be engaged under a Master Services Agreement, with individual Task Orders issued over the term of the Agreement as specific scopes are defined and authorized.

Submissions are due by 8/14/2026. Thank you in advance to all respondents. Opal Creek reserves the right to terminate this RFQ at any time if deemed appropriate, and is not responsible for any costs associated with the preparation of qualifications. OCAFC will evaluate submissions based on the published selection criteria and determine which respondents advance to interviews, tentatively scheduled for the week of 8/24–8/31, 2026, ahead of an anticipated selection and notice of award on 9/9/2026.
