Our 2026 Jawbone Flats rental season has come to a close! This summer, we welcomed returning friends and first-time visitors to experience the beauty, resilience, and renewal of the Opal Creek watershed.

From hikes through a recovering forest to shared meals, stories, and quiet moments along the river, this season offered opportunities to slow down, connect with one another, and deepen our relationship with this remarkable place. Each visit reminds us that Jawbone Flats remains a special place for learning, reflection, and community, even as the landscape continues to change.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who made the journey to Jawbone Flats this year. Your enthusiasm, flexibility, and care for the land help sustain the spirit of this place as we continue our recovery and rebuilding efforts.
